ADOPTED: Mercedes (Mac’s Mercedes)

Normally the fosters are upset and whimper/whine on their first night, but she was as quiet as a church mouse all night, in the crate. She seems to like the crate, doesn’t like walking in the rain, but isn’t afraid of it either. She’s already roached several times, played footsie with foster sister Tilly, met a 10 week old puppy and behaved well with her. Seems to be a slow eater so far, preferring to just graze on her food. She’s hesitant going up the stairs (10 of them), which I suspect is causing her some pain. She broke her right rear leg in August and just had the pins and plate removed a few weeks ago, so needs to take it easy for a while and redevelop her strength. She’s very affectionate and very relaxed and does well walking on the leash.
