In 2020 we placed 150 greyhounds into loving homes. And with the start of 2021, Greyhound Friends of North Carolina (GFNC) is beginning a new chapter in our long history. While the last of the Florida tracks have closed – we are receiving our final group of greyhounds from Florida this weekend – we will continue to receive dogs from other sources.

Our mission remains the same: GFNC is committed to placing retired racing greyhounds into loving homes and being a resource for the greyhound community.

As we prepare for our seventeenth Mountain Hounds, we wish you a Happy New Year and are grateful for your continued support!
From all the GFNC Board Members
