Year End Reflections

Happy Holidays to all our Greyhound Friends of North Carolina!

As the newly elected President of GFNC, it will be my pleasure to help reach our goals and support greyhound families enjoy our furry friends.

With 2019 coming to an end, I wanted to thank all of you for your help and support throughout a changing year:

  • Found forever homes for 108 greyhounds.
  • Adapted from a kennel-based to a foster-based organization. Thank you to the kennel team, all the volunteers, and foster families for making the transition successful.
  • Underwent some changes in the Board of Directors. As they stepped down from their roles, please join me in thanking Malay Shah, Amy Reynard, and Melissa Cormican for their dedication to GFNC.
  • We will continue using our Facebook and email newsletters as main communication tools, so please follow us or register to ensure you are always connected to the GFNC family!

May the New Year make us stronger towards reaching our goals, to help more pups coming off the track into well-deserved retirement homes.

May Peace and Love surround your greyhounds and share with their human families many wonderful moments.

We are grateful for your continuing support, which enables GFNC to transport, vet, foster, care for, and adopt out retired racing greyhounds. None of it would be possible without you! As we close out 2019, please consider making a tax-deductible donation towards our 2020 efforts.

Best wishes for a Prosperous and GREYT New Year.

Ken Robichaud, President, GFNC
