Molly came back to GFNC at 12 1/2 yrs of age. Her return was one that was very hard for the previous owner but couldn’t be helped. Rick & I picked her up and immediately fell in love.

Molly was a grumpy old girl, who barked and snarled at the other dogs. (Who promtly ignored her.) She wanted breakfast/dinner ON TIME and would let you know if you were going too slow. We were told she was deaf but it may have been “selective hearing”. She wanted loving and would stand in front of you until you petted her long enough to meet her need.

Molly also had LP-laryngeal paralysis and only 2 1/2 months after she came to us she had two episodes within an hour. Her poor heart couldn’t not take the stress and strain and we had to let her cross to the bridge.

2 1/2 months is such a short time. But I would do it all over again. For those short months Molly was a part of our family and loved us as much as we loved her. Her memory will always be with us and make us smile and our heart glow.

Run free sweet Molly Socks! We will love you forever.
