Featured Greyhounds -
Become a Sponsor
So you can't adopt a greyhound but you still want to help? Sponsorship is a
wonderful way for those individuals who cannot physically adopt a greyhound to participate
fully in our rescue and adoption effort. It also allows groups such as school
classrooms, nursing home residents, etc. to sponsor a hound. Just check out the
Greyhound Profiles and look for the "Sponsor Me" link and make a donation on
behalf of the greyhound of your choice.
Occasionally, a dog
may require special medical attention. If you see this expense under a
dog profile, and would like to contribute to these additional expenses,
please note it in your sponsorship.
You can submit your sponsorship
donation via PayPal or by mail. Leave
the Name Space blank if you are paying by PayPal and would like someone to choose the dog
for you.

of these loving dogs, availability is subject to change daily. This site is provided
by volunteers only and sometimes adoptions take place which are not posted. We're sorry
for any inconvenience. Call Greyhound Friends of NC for up-to-date information on your
favorite greyhound.

8 1/2 years old. No Cats.
Clown is a very sweet guy that loves attention. He would probably
do best in a home where he can get all the love and attention for
himself.

10 1/2 years old. No Cats. She's very sweet
AND
well behaved female that just wants some love, a few toys and big Ole'
comfy bed. Her prior owner had to return because of long work hours and
didn't think it was fair to her to be left so many hours alone!

Gracie

_small1.jpg)
Gracie is a
pretty 4 year old. She may be a little shy when she first meets you, but she
certainly warms up when she knows there is a squeaky toy or someone fun to
play with. She doesn't care very much for the kitties and she would prefer
older children. Gracie needs the company of another greyhound and someone
that is familiar with greyhounds. She does fine in her foster home with 2
males and 1 female greyhound. If you are looking for another grey Gracie is
your girl.

Silky

Home)

My name is Silky and I need a new
home. My mom and dad are going to Iraq and have no where to leave
me. I am 10 years young and very cat friendly as I am living with
two now. I love children and big people and I really love to go on
walks or just spend the day lazin around. Can you help me out.

Ginger
(Previous
Home)

4 1/2 years old. Cat
Trainable. Ginger is loving and playful. Returned because family did
not have enough time for a dog. Gets along well with other dogs once she
knows them - introductions are important. Ginger would make a great jogging
partner! Loves walks too. Best with older children or teenagers because of
her enthusiasm and playfulness! Loves to nap in a sunny patch of yard or
floor. She enjoys belly rubs. Ginger will reward a little work with much
love and joy! Won't you give this sweet girl a second chance at a forever
home?
