You may specify a name of a greyhound or towards medical needs of any of our "Special Needs Greys". These greyhounds are usually Seniors that have been returned and need surgery or on special medication.
$_______Hogan's Fund- Hogan crossed the Rainbow Bridge after a valiant struggle
with complications from osteosarcoma. In recognition of this beloved greyhound and the lives he changed, his family companions Dan and Barbara Griffin want to honor his life by establishing Hogan's fund. This fund will be used by Greyhounds Friends for the Care, feeding and protection of SENIOR GREYHOUNDS NINE YEARS OR OLDER. If Director needs or seeks clarification on distribution qualification, the Executive Director may seek guidance from any member of the Griffin family.

______"Leave a Legacy" Bequests are legacies that can be left to certain charities. To any donors that might want to give a Bequest to Greyhound Friends of N.C. from the general value of your estate, and are made by designating a specific dollar amount, a particular asset or a fixed percentage of your estate contact your lawyer and specify Greyhound Friends in your Will.

Greyhound Friends!

Donation dollars support our ongoing rescue and adoption efforts, enabling Greyhound Friends to transport, feed and shelter greyhounds awaiting adoptive homes, as well as to provide all necessary medical care, including complete examinations, spay/neuter, vaccinations, and teeth cleaning and scaling. Our adoption rate is 450-500 greyhounds every year.
Donation dollars also help pay for our educational efforts aimed at increasing the public's awareness of the availability and desirability of greyhounds as pets and to inform the public of their peril.
By educating the public on the value of saving a greyhounds life, the adoption figures grow each year. Greyhound Friends wants to focus on the many more that need homes. Won't you help us help more greyhounds find homes?

It's amazing how quickly things get used up or wear out around the kennel. As you can tell every dollar is used in our mission to find homes and care for greyhounds. We appreciate any donations monetary or Wish List items of the following:

First Aid Supplies - gauze pads, vet wrap, adhesive tape, triple antibiotic
Cleaning supplies - washing detergent and Odo Ban Disinfectant, Pooper Scoopers
Office supplies - copy paper, postage stamps, 9x12 kraft envelopes for mailing or shipping,
Volunteers - any day of the week or weekend between 7:30 am until 7 pm
