| Burlington Carousel Festival @ Burlington City Park, Burlington, NC 2-day event Saturday, September 18 10am-until and Sunday, September 19 1-until. The event includes: A baseball field full of arts and crafts vendors, another area with non-profit information booths, live music on several stages, a small train that circles the entire park for parents & children and the Famous Carousel that is the theme of the festival and food galore. You won't leave hungry. Please help us promote greyhound adoptions by coming and helping Debbie staff the booth with your greyhound. | Saturday, October 16, 2010 @ Macy's Wendover Avenue Greensboro NC Participating in Macy's Shop for a Cause fundraiser. One-day only shopping event created to support local non-profit organizations. Each group that participates sells Shopping Passes @ $5 each and GFNC keeps 100% of every pass sold. Customers can then enjoy a day of spectacular discounts (up to 25% , 20% & 10% off regular, sale and clearance purchases) all day and a chance to win a $500 shopping spree.
